Famer's market

A couple of weeks ago Holly took me with her to the St. Jacob's Farmer's Market. This farmer's market includes vendors in two buildings and more vendors spread outside. Even though it was a slow day, there were so many people indoors and out. And meat, produce, cheese, hats, clothing, art, decorations, and so much more.

I bought some delicious red bell peppers and a jug of apple cider that we enjoyed hot and cold. Holly bought us each an apple fritter that earned it's title "famous" for a delicious reason.

These two earn their hay by giving visitors to the farmer's market tours of Mennonite Farms in the area.  We didn't take a rid on their trolley, but we did say hello.

Taking a break in the shaded barn while he waits for his owners to finish selling their wares at the market.

Many of the vendors were Mennonite. They parked their buggies across the street.
